Recycling is a major concern for the City of Inver Grove Heights. Recycling is taken seriously and there are several programs in place to help make recycling easy for you. There is a curb side service available for certain items, pick up is weekly. Items for weekly pick up include all shiny magazines and catalogs, corrugated cardboard broken down into 3x3 bundles and ties, all food and beverage cans made from aluminum, tin or bimetal, glass bottles and jar for food and drink usage only and must be rinsed, cleaned with lids and caps removed, newspapers, plastic bottles with a neck, and mixed mail.
